Choux de Bruxelles is a company based in Etterbeek, at the heart of the Arsenal site. We operate in the hospitality sector, offering catering services, venues for private or corporate events, restaurants, food trucks, and more.

Who are we looking for?

The Théâtre du Vaudeville and the Hôtel des Galeries, two of our historically significant and iconic venues listed as heritage sites, are looking for an Event Coordinator / Technical Manager. In this key role, you will oversee the organization, technical management, and maintenance of a variety of events (weddings, performances, fairs, etc.) while ensuring the upkeep and optimal functioning of the facilities.

This position requires a highly versatile individual, combining event management, technical skills, client relations, and maintenance responsibilities.

Technical Skills and Maintenance:

• Diagnose and monitor technical installations and equipment.
• Organize and plan maintenance activities to prevent breakdowns.
• Detect and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure safety and optimize the performance of equipment.
• Analyze and propose continuous improvements.

What do we expect from you?

• You are highly flexible with working hours and available during peak times (evenings and weekends).
• You speak French. Knowledge of Dutch and English is a plus.
• You are skilled in using digital communication tools and social media.
• You are meticulous, precise, thorough, and passionate about technical tasks.
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• You ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• You are a team player but can also work autonomously and remotely.
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and a knack for building relationships.
• You are diplomatic and a good listener, capable of handling clients and stressful situations.
• You possess persuasion and negotiation skills.
• You have natural authority to lead teams and make decisions.
• A valid driving license (B) is a plus.
