What will be your mission?

• You are responsible for the food stock according to the rules of the FAVV.
• You manage and place food orders with suppliers based on upcoming events.
• You collaborate regularly with the person responsible for food orders and catering workshops to meet the expectations of our customers.
• You carefully prepare events, taking into account specific customer requests, allergies, intolerances, …
• You select fresh products and prepare them: peel, cut, chop, hollow out, marinate, …
• You prepare hot and cold dishes according to defined recipes and depending on the events.
• You create menus and show creativity for new dishes.
• You maintain the kitchen daily (clear and clean the work surface, cooking equipment, utensils, …)
• You check and manage leftover food (quality and freshness of products).

What profile are we looking for?

• You are very flexible in terms of working hours and available during peak seasons.
• You want to showcase your cooking skills and personal touch.
• You have good customer service skills.
• You can handle stress during large events.
• You are attentive to details, involved, and reactive with a real team spirit.
• You easily adapt to any situation, and the unexpected does not scare you.
• You want to grow individually and enjoy working in a team.
• You have a driving license B.
• You already have a small experience of 2 years.
• Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
